2007 approaching pretty soon. In less than an hour!

Ugh. Am i excited about 2007?
The answer is a yes and no.
Yes because after o's you can play whole day long!
No because of O's &prelims! Which is like so scary. No computer, no tv, but mugging whole day long, memorising s'pore politics, tourism stuff, solving formulaes and many many more..



I don't feel like blogging now.

YADA YADA! I've completed geography assignment *cough*
The cough doesn't mean anything, really!

As usual went to math tuition with ann chee.
The class was packed, as in damn pack, need to bring in 2 extra tables &chairs.
Nothing much else.
On our way back, i saw my tourmates. I didn't notice her, it was she who wave her hand to me. Can't blame me for that, cus she &her 2 younger brudders were in the hairdresser.
&at bb mrt, we saw doreen. lols!

Suddenly, i'm cravings for japanese food, especially gyoza &miso soup.
Tell you ah, during my week in taiwan, i kept drinking miso soup for breakfast. hahs. What's miso soup actually for uh?
Is it to improve your appetite before heavy meals?
Cus i see many japanese drinking miso soup before they eat their breakfast.


I don't know whether it's a good/bad news.
My dad can't find a tuition which teach combine physics. hahs. &he's kinda angry about it, cus i refused to take pure physics tuition.
See, what's the point of taking pure physics tuition, when i can't handle combine physics.
Secondly, pure &combine physics are different. Hello, we got different textbooks.
Thirdly, i can do self-study on physics on my own. But he don't believe i can't handle.
Well, continue to find the tuition dad. But hell no, am i going to agree to have piano on weekend.



WOW. 2006 going to end soon. It's fast.
Next year gon' be a terrible year. Ah well, not so terrible, 'cept for the o's, prelims, preps.
Guess i can cope. Cus i've a planner!
There's some undone stuff before school reopen:
1) HOLIDAY ASSIGNMENT!
2) Revision (haven't done revision for even 1 subject)

I'd want to make my resolutions for 2007 now, in case something crop up tomorrow.
1) Improve on studies (get good grades).
2) Be more hardworking.
3) Healthy all year long.
4) Survive the last few months of band practice (lol!)
5) Practice hard on piano till march
6) WORLD PEACE!
7) Happy all year long
8) Go home with besties after school
That's all i can think of right now. If there's more, i'll add on.

WAY COOL!

Decided to take a visit at the school's website.
&found out many stuffs, like who will be teaching us next year.
Gahh! Mdm roslina is teaching us food&nutrition. Gosh! I'll miss mdm ratna teaching us.
&&&mrs leong will be teaching us math.
Fortunately, our physic teacher has changed to mr hohoho.

Enough about school stuff.
I went to watch night at the musuem during the afternoon!
I love that movie man!
It's the f to the u to the n-n-y. FUNNY!
The part where the big stone guy (ester something), who goes "hey dumb dumb, give me gum gum"
&the (don't-know-what spieces) monkey, dexter, love snatching the key &slapping ben stiller(forget his name in the movie).
Those cave guys looked really really insane.
&the laughing list goes on..
Night at the Musuem is a movie which you won't mind (i. don't. know. how. much) buckeroo.
Those money did paid off for a good laugh.
haha.

After watching, went to collect those photos taken in taiwan. Altogether it was $100.10. Yeps, so you can imagine how many photos there are.

At night, i had dinner with my family &big aunt.
Don't know what got into me. But i'm starting to eat fish without complaining. Still i hate fish! If not for next year, which is my O. See, i'm trying to improve my brain. So i'm taking royal jelly (bought from taiwan) &fish.
You won't wanna know what's royal jelly made of. haha. Can tell you, it taste sour.

Today, i went out to do holiday assignment with jacq &jia long.
We did our homework (which was our main priority&chit chatting too.
Especially me &jacq, kept talking non-stop. Can't blame her, cus i'm the one who started most of the conversation first.

Ooh. Some kind soul lent me some materials for reference. hahs. Get what i mean?
Saw alina &daifang at mac! It's been long since i last saw them.

At night, i went for math tuition. Beginning to like math again =]
Permutation &combination makes my brain thinks real hard.
The feeling was great.

God, do motivate me to pack my messy room.
I want to have a neat &simple room, so i can have a better study ambience.

Gosh! I find that 'one missed call' is one thrilling horror movie, that makes you wanna catch every episode of it.

Btw, i'm enjoying every last moments of 2006. When 2006 comes to end, it means that school is reopening soooooooon.

Helloo! It's been long since i really blog, as in about daily life &stuff.
The taiwan's post was straight from my hand-written journal. Of course, there are some changes here &there.
I may continue posting about my holiday in taiwan, or maybe not. You know it takes forever to upload those pictures.


Not much thing happened today. Just pass a day watching tv, doing tuition hw &sleeping.
Btw, i was lucky that i went taiwan last week. Lols. Yesterday, taiwan had an earthquake at koahshiung.
I hate the earthquake man. It affected the starhub something. Hence, i can't get into some websites earlier on.

At night, i went for my make-up tuitions. Oh well, now i learnt how to appreciate tuitions. At least, i know my brain is still working, though a bit laggy. haha
I had tuitions with sec-3-gonna-be people. They can talk about many topic. First was about gays &lesbians. Next was about church, which i don't know what they're talking about, cus i'm not a christian.
Yep. This is how i spent my today.



I just came back from my family chalet on monday. I went on saturday, 23 dec. But didn't stay. On sunday, we went to the chalet at night.
&around 10plus some major things sparked off.
Why did the major quarrel went off?
Just because of a pathetic travel mattress.
I can just sleep on the sofa, what's so great about the travel mattress, just because of some flinstone cartoon on it? It's only 25 buckeroos. I can go buy it using my own money!
Let me tell you why i'm so f*ck up.
This was what my cousin said "If shi min (me) sleep on the mattress, i don't want that mattress already"
&i think my big aunt started to shout at her &she cried.
This was what i heard from my 2nd biao ge.
The girl who cried is my forth aunt's daughter. My forth aunt is a very fierce person. Of course, she was very unhappy about it. &started slashing at my mum.
For god sake, my forth aunt should show respect to my mum. My mum is older than her.
She shouted at my mum twice, saying she didn't help out etc. She even said my mum had personality problem.
&she wasn't happy that my mum kept smiling all the time. Is she so jealous because my mum can smile &she can't. &what makes you think that if people smile, means they're happy?!
What the fuck?!! How dare you said this behind my mum's back, you effing aunt. I don't wish to have such aunt like you. Want severe ties. Severe lah!
I also don't wish to have a cousin like that too, mind you, she's jc2 next year. &that's how she behaved. What a shame?!
In front of me, she's seems to like me a lot. But at my back, there goes many nonsense.
I've seen her true colours clearly.

I don't wish to have a cousin, aunt &uncle! You guys sucks beeeeeeg time. My best friends are millions times better than you guys.
My third uncle is no better too. Fancy scolding my mum's at the back, when my mum is crying.
Thanks for teaching me in the past. But i also don't wish to have uncle like you.

I hate anyone who hurt my mum.

If it won't for you (forth aunt) slashing at my mum like that, i won't cry for hours alright.

I can't believe this is how you all treat my mum. When you people were children, what did my mum did?!
She look after you all, sacrifice her studies, sleep for few hours only, cooked for you all. How i wish she didn't cook for you evil people, &you'll long be starved to death!
I still hate you(forth aunt) for shouting at my mum like that! I'll clearly remembered it!

I didn't lay my finger on your effing travel mattress. I slept on the sofa.

This was how unpleasant the chalet was. Plus, my younger cousin went to hospital, cus he sprained his hand while playing in the chalet.
My sixth uncle seems to have some sickness..

The chalet was like cursed or something. Mum severe ties with my forth aunt &third uncle.
It's not my mum who wants to severe ties, it's them.
Hate them like there's no tomorrow.

I'M BACK! on friday, late in the night, around 11 plus, minutes away to saturday.

I ate the whole potato. Know why i call it a potato. Look at the world map closely, &you'll see taiwan is actually the shape of a potato, han zhi.
I didn't realised it till the tour guide told us about it.
75% of taiwanese know japan language. Hence, most tourists which come to taiwan, is mostly japanese.
Taiwan is a bit similar to japan, cus japan had invaded taiwan for 50 years. Holland &1 other country invaded taiwan, before japan did.

I find japanese people very polite. At the hotel's lift, i sure see some japanese people. Firstly, they will say thank you in their own language, then in chinese. Also, they look humble &soft-spoken.

&lastly, taiwan didn't exist on this earth. Not till, billions years ago, something extreme major don't know what happened. &popped, the land appeared. Before that the land was in the ocean. I wonder if it's true or not. It's the tour guide who told us.

1st day in taiwan, 16th dec'06:
Left home at around 5.30am. Uncle drove us to changi airport terminal 1.
Do those important stuff like collecting the boarding pass etc.

11.17am: On plane now! Reaching hong kong soon, but there's still a distance away. Guess what?! Andrew's plane just next to mine xD

Andrew bluff us, he didn't went to indonesia but bangkok instead. He told me only on the last band practice, which was on the 15th dec. Then of course i told him about bangkok, cus i went there when i was pri6.

The plane i'm on is taking off, andrew's one still need to wait. HAHA!

Hahs. I'm lucky. Always get the window seat.
On plane, there's the studio cx. I watched a jap movie. My dad asked me to watch snow white &the seven dwarf. My whole expression became like that -.-
The food was err okayy.

1.29pm: On plane again! Just left hong kong for taipei. Excited! Nearer to my idols. Haha! My hand carrier bag need to be check in whichever aiport i go. You know need to pass the security check there. Cus i took my whole pencil case too, i took out scissors, but forgotten about my compass. &because of the compass, they need to molest my bag.
Tell you ah, this flight, a bit scary. Cus when taking off, the plane suddenly drop a little. I grabbed my mum's hand immediately. Lols! Make my heart skip a beat.


9.51pm: Now in the bus, going to Yaward Hotel. Today was fun, cus went to 2 night markets, tamshui old street &shihlin night market.

Over there, i saw spongebob softtoy, much cheaper than s'pore ones. Too bad, didn't buy =[
Also, i saw chip &dale keychain. Didn't buy for myself &di. Cus it have a weird face, totally un-cute. It's like chip &dale haven't been fed for days. Ugh. I'll stop uttering rubbish. hahs.
I had a bowl of beancurd at the hei dou hua shop. Mine is with black pearl.
I felt much warmer after eating the hot bowl of beancurd. Cus outside was very cold, about 10 -13 degree celsius. I was shivering intially. haha. Couldn't stand the cold weather. But soon, i got used to it.
Also, at around 5 plus, it turned dark already. Again, it feels kinda weird, cus in s'pore it's night only at around 6 plus.
Now is the winter 'dong' season. Hence, it's quite cold &it's night at around 5 plus. Err but why there isn't any snow? (stop acting stupid here)
After that, we went to shihlin night market.
No pictures of that, cus i was too busy looking around &buying things. haha. It just slipped off my mind.
At there, it was extreme crowded. &the ppl over there their clothings are very style.
I bought a sweater (or whatever you call that) and some mouth mask. &when i saw the mask, i think about leon brobro &andrew. Ya' know why. Cus their mouth can't shut one. Also, it really suit them. haha.
For dinner, i had 2 bowls of the hong you jiao zi or whatever you call that.

Now is 11 plus. I'm in yaward hotel (it's a resort actually). Love the tv! Cus there's 80 over channels :D


2nd day in taiwan, 17 dec'06:
7.44am: Now we're leaving taipei for hualien. The resort's room was great, 'cept for the food which looked un-tasty. Early in the morning, you can see those rich people playing golf. Wonder whty people play golf. Golf is the most boring sports i've ever seen.

2.41pm: We haven't reached hualien yet. Earlier on, we went to jiu fen. Over there is super cold, there's sea &it's a bit mountainous. In the past, people who lived at there, used to give out things in sets of 9 (or something). That's how the name derived.
Also, leung chao wei had a house at there. Cus in the past he filmed a movie called 'sad city', &stayed at jiu fen for about a month.

Jiu fen is famous for this delicacy. Didn't try it, cus it's made of yam.



Most of the people who goes jiu fen will definitely buy this wooden shoes. Especially japanese.


It's famous for suan mei too. The shop name is mei da mei xiao. Hahs. That's interesting.
In chinese, mei da mei xiao means no manner/ rude. Chinese characters is different, but the pronunciation is the same.

During lunch, we went to Yilan to have our lunch (obviously). Almost all the dishes were seafoods. I had prawns & fish only.
At the restaurant, i bought a cow's tongue biscuit. At first, i thought it was made of cow tongue, &was reluctant to try. But after that, the owner of the restaurant explained that it's made of honey &sugar(i think). It's called cow's tongue biscuit because it's resemble the shape of a cow's tongue.

After lunch, we were brought to ma zu temple.

The tour guide, gimmy, could talked a lot, about the history etc. Of course, he can speak a lot, or else he'll be sack long time ago.
At there, it was my first time seeing bian pao (fire cracker?). I got a shocked when i heard the bian pao went off. I thought what happened &didn't know it was that. It was seconds later then i realised it. Luckily, there's a 2nd time.
I had snack, ice-creams with peanuts floss rolled in a popiah skin. YUMMY!
Then it was hours to drive to hualien. Took almost the whole morning &part of the afternoon. Travelled past many tunnels &the roads which are on the mountains.
According to the tour guide, the tunnels were built by the taiwanese armies in the past. About 200 died &majority had hurt themselves while building the tunnels.

Around 3 plus, we finally reached hualien. Went to taroko. Surrounded by mountains. A bit scary. Haha.


We could go look at the temple, if not for the 921 earthquake. People can still go up to the temple, but it's rather dangerous.

Next was to Ami Aboriginal, it's all about different tribes &their dances. There's about 9 different tribes in taiwan. Ya' know singers like zai zai or vivian hsu are from some tribes.

After the performance, we went to Parkview hotel. Had our dinner at there. BUFFET! Food was great =D
No night market at hualien, so ended the days with watching tv till i fell asleep.


3rd day in taiwan, 18th dec'07:
Ya' know, last night there's a slight earthquake in the hotel i stayed. Too bad, i didn't felt the earthquake, cus i was sound asleep.
Today, we headed for koahsiung. It took the whole morning to reach from hualien to koahsiung. We had lunch at taitung. Not yummy at all!
Our tour guide, gimmy, treated us fruit &vegetable juice. It turned out to be nice. I thought there might be those vegetable taste, cus it's fruit &vegetable juice. But the fruit taste beat the vegetable taste. Haha!
Along the way, i saw many plantations, mostly fruits. Plus a herd of cows. &chickens (as in living ones). (We were in the bus, when we saw those)

This is taiwan strait sea. Can swim back to s'pore. hahs

I was literally shocked when i arrived koahsiung. From a farm type place(taitung) to a busy/modern place (koahsiung).
Upon reaching koahsiung, we were brought to 85 building. We took a lift that takes 43 sec to reach the 75th floor. It's super fast!
As it goes up/down, the lift will turn like this *points down*


Up at the 74th floor, you can see almost everything in koahsiung.


Next, we went to cijin island. We need to take a ferry in order to reach there. FERRY RIDE IS TEH LOVE!

The ferrry ride wasn't that long, enjoyed the breeze.

In cijin island, we went to mazu temple(i think) before we had our dinner.
There's a wishing pond, &i wish that i can get good results for O's. &toss a coin into the pond.
After that, we cross over this little bridge.

Today wasn't a boring day, though not productive at all. I did a review about movie for english holiday assignment.
The rest of the day i was watching one missed call &Ganbatte Ikimasshoi.
Tell you ah, jap drama is the best! Be it comedy or horror etc.

Then had maths tuition. Learnt about sec 4 stuff (of cus).
Every week, we've to play the memory game. &each week i get lesser &lesser points. I'm getting old already, &my brain starts to age too.

I'm feeling so YAY now. haha.
I'm leaving for taiwan soooooon.

I love flute sections. It's them who makes me wanna go for band. Lols! :D
I really will miss playing flute. Cus i won't take band as my cca after sec's life. Maybe sports or others.

Later having chemistry tuition. On a serious tone, i detest science to a large extent. But no choice, this is s'pore &it happen that science is one of the important subject for entry to junior college.
&i used to love maths a lot. But now ughhhhhhhhhhh i destest a lil only. Cus we not only play around with numbers but also weird symbols, that makes your eyes like that @.@
Nevermind, bear with it. I'm years away before i'm stepping into the real adults world. Gon' be fun (i hope so)! Like i can immigrate (oops).

Wednesday, 6/12:
Nothing much actually. The weekly band practice &stuff. &when i came back from tuition, mum shocked me with a bad news. My cousin in hospital &he'll be having brain operation. I was kinda scared though. He's only pri 3 or something. Anyway, he's okay now.
Mum asked if i wanna go to the hospital to visit my cousin. I quickly said no. I didn't even dare to take a peep at him.

Thursday,7/12:
FIRST DAY OF BAND CAMP!
Surprisingly i wasn't late, just went to flag the cab. &there i go a cab. LOLS! Must be my lucky day =]
Then the usual stuff of checking of bags, allocating the bunks &bla bla bla.
Oh ya, i cried on the 1st day of camp. hahaha! Cus i forget bring my tag, so i phoned my mum the second time at bb cc. Then don't know why, my eyes were full of tears, &i start tearing. Uhh, actually she was screaming into my ear. Maybe i know why i cried. I felt lack of care from her since my cousin went to hospital. She's more concern about my cousin. Well, i'm not jealous about that, cus my cousin was having operation at the brain there. But she shouldn't scold me, since the minute i woke up from my sleep. Then even at phone she was screaming into my ears. Guess i felt fed out... &then i started crying.
Thanks louise! haha. She was there consoling me.

Band practice was till around 12 plus. Mr hoe was in a real good mood i suppose. Therefore, we got a slightly looooooong break.
I went home during the break. Ate a lot &slept for a while, before heading back to school.

Back to school, we had footdrill sessions. The sec2 juniors did enjoy that particular footdrill session.

Being the first time doing the display technique, they really did a great job!

After that was shower &item prep bla bla bla.

I miss my seniors! I was soooooooo happy when i saw them *flashes biggest smile*
One word, F-U-N! =D

Then we had this near to midnight footdrill. Dang eerie but it was a good experience. Also we couldn't shout etc.

Friday, 8/12:
OUTING TO WEST COAST SENTOSA!
The station we were at were not very fun though. But it was windy &we, 3 (me, jacq &angeline) fell asleep while waiting.
&i think there's certain game we really suceeded in making them to have fun &laugh.
The skipping &toothpick. hahaha!

Through the game, we can see potential in ppl. Their enthusiasm etc. We also saw the more pessistmistic (however you spell that) ppl, who give up easily.
We could actually see their characteristics through the treasure hunt game.


So we had to stop everyone from playing at 12 plus. Alpha, bravo &committee weren't quite happy about it.

Oh ya, &i vomitted before going home. LOLS! I shouldn't have eaten the whole packet of junk food. Tsk!

Reached home, bathe, ate &fell asleep till the next morning (just look, how tired i am)

Saturday, 9/12:
I was very late meeting ann chee for tuition. SORRY! =]
Now i've to pay my very best attention during a. math tuition. Heard about the rumour? That rumour is true.
Hope the school give us a very good math teacher, just like mrs choo =]

I watched OPEN SEASON!
It was hilarious, especially the "battling" part between the animals &hunters.
&&&the porcupine sooooooo cute! Keep saying "buddy" with that dai dai face. &he said "the f- word"

Did i break a record? Maybe not. Cus i didn't blog for 3 days.
Wait. I feel weird, i don't miss blogging. ha! I'm stating a fact. Okay, maybe the reason behind this is because of DEAD BEAT. Anyway, i needa get used to not blogging daily uh? Cus i can expect myself to be busy next year.


On Sunday, 3/12/06:
I've tuition with 2 sec 1-going-to-be boys. hahaha! My math teachers teaching them BODMAS. Still remember it?
I remembered! BODMAS is so easy peasy =]
&i'm sucha muddle-head. My piano lesson is supposed to on 10/12. But i went on 3/12.
Oh my gosh! I feel so DUMB. [Ya' know why i've to strike that off? Cus later leon will be full of joy, if i admit that i'm dumb. Okay, this is so way out of point. Ugh! Whatever]
Tsk. If not i could watch happy feet with my cousin! I really feel so cbsajdfbajef now!
Ahhhhhhhhh! Nevermind!
So i had my dinner at hyatt. It was a buffet. Thought the food will be yummylicious. In the end, it turned out to be so-so. There's like chinese, malay &indian food only. &the choices are kinda limited. As you all know i'm very very very very very fussy. Hence my choices of food are much lesser.
I'm so happy! Finally i talked with my cousins :D
&i ate rojak twice. Ugh. That's silly huh? I'm happy cus i ate rojak.
Oh ya. &1 of my cousin vomitted. He was fast but not so fast enough. He didn't manage to run sprint into the toilet. Thus, he took a glass &vomitted in it.
Me &my the other cousin, tse ruey. Saw the whole process. The final product look like chendol. Lols.
At first, i was so bloated! Then, when i laughed at the scene of my cousin vomitting, i wasn't that bloated anymore.
Btw, i'm not a sadist. I wasn't the only one laughing, even his mum was laughing. Couldn't blame us actually. If you see the "whole process", you'd be laughing with us too.

Nothing much actually, went to queensway &ikea with the committee to get stuff there.

This was a surprised mini burfdae party. But i guess it was half success &half not. The half not, cus jacq kinda know a bit of what we're up to.

She was very touched &almost cried. hahaha
We didn't directly give the presents to her. We had something more fun in our mind...

WE HID THE PRESENTS IN THE ROOM!
The aim was to test her skill in treasure hunting
She was supposed to find lia's present, 7 besties' present- a box of belgium chocolate (36) &besties (6).
Tell you uh. She took a long time to find all those. I think she had fun searching for those presents, it's really a surprise.

After that, we went to the billiard room. We played billiards of course, cherades &the game which we've to unlock ourselves.
I played 1 round of billiard. &never play anymore. Cus i don't know how to play.
Yan &na was quite pro at it. &di look likes she loves playing billiard.
hahaha.
Then we were hungry, so me &jacq went out to buy foods &drinks for the 5 princess.
hahaha =]
The 5 princess had cup noodle, while me &jacq had slice fish bee hoon with milk.
So yummy i tell you.
Now i'm craving for slice fish bee hoon with milk.
See miracle. I eat fish!
I wonder..
Will i be more smarter after i eat fish... (and i can see leon brobro shaking his head)

I wasn't allowed to use the computer yesterday, as dad said i was tired. &ya, i was tired.
Yesterday, was kinda a disaster in band. Sign. Now ppl know the clue. Will there be fun anymore?
Took so much time just to plan the camp. &now...
Nevermind, i'll just pretend nothing happened. I'm not looking forward anymore...

&yesterday, was the last day of morris allen. We're given about 1 month break.
I'll miss mr jye teaching me english ='[
He told me that i changed or whatever. Cus i was quiet during the first few months, but after that i started to speak up more often.
Before the tuition ended, we played monopoly for around 90mins.
We played it our very own style. &i like it.
I'M THE WINNER! Not a small one, but a BEEEEEEEEEEG winner.

&today.
I was soooo hungry this morning. Hahs. So before tuition, i bought a currypuff.
I didn't understand what ms angie was teaching. It's kinda weird like one week i'll understand the topic, the other week i'll be clueless to questions.
I hate meddling with weird symbols. Brain racking task i'd say.
After tuition, i had lunch with ann chee at long john silver.
As usual, we chat alottt =]

After that, i went vivo city with my dad.
Watched Deck in the Halls. Funny movie.
&it was my first time watching movie at vivo city's golden village. The seats are comfy &spacious. The sound system is wicked. I wanna watch night at the musueme, coming this december.
I swear i'm watching all my movies at there =]
Had dinner at white dogs with my dad. I ate pasta with some special cream sauce, onions &turkey bacons. Initially it was yummy, but after that it tasted a bit yucky till i needa swallow it down or pinch my nose.
Lols. Actually, i was craving for jap food. But didn't know why out of the sudden i went to white dog instead.
I shopped around at vivo afterward. Many people &it was very noisy.

I don't deny that it's way too expensive. But good chocolates don't come cheap =]

I'm not looking down on my country, but it's a fact uh? At least they can win some medals, which is good enough for now.

Sign. Having math tuition at 11.30am &piano class at 5.15pm tomorrow. After that, having buffet dinner at hyatt with my deary cousins &aunties.
I'd rather rot at home that maybe going out with them. Nevermind, i'll just bear with it for the sake of the food =]
